Start your own cake business. The Golden Treasure Skills and Development Program (GTSDP) will conduct a one day seminar on cake baking and bread making and also how to make different types of pastries. This will be held at the UP Integrated School Building, Maria Regidor St., Sunken Garden, University of the Philippines, Diliman, Quezon City from 10 am to 6 pm.
The daylong seminar will have an actual demo, food tasting and hands-on experience on how to make caramel cake, lemon square bar, revel bar, chocolate oatmeal cookies, chiffon cake, butter cake, mocha cake, custard cake, brazo de mercedez, carrot cake, food for the god's, sans rival, pandesal, cheese bread, donut, chicken pie, egg pie, dinner roll, pandi coco, spanish bread, garlic bread, pizza crust, apple walnut cake, canonigo, fruit tart, (baked cheese cake) blueberry, and new york cheese cake. And there will also be a bonus course on how to make decorated cupcakes, fondant cake with gum paste design and basic cake decorating.
The other topics of the seminar will also include sourcing of materials and costing. Participants will be given a certificate of training right after the seminar. Lunch, snacks, hand-outs and all the raw materials for hands-on will also be provided.
